Position
The powder coater prepares surfaces for PC and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of applications methods and materials; mixes and matches powder and finishes; performs inspections, clean ups, storage and disposal of powder; and operates various tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of applying powder coating to various metal parts per customer specifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Possess a keen sense of attention to detail
- Process effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Duties
- Must perform all duties in conjunction with OSHA and WISHA requirements
- Perform industrial powder coating operations efficiently and effectively, per specifications
- Follow written and verbal details to complete assignments or jobs
- Operate Forklift
- Keep work environment clean, safe, and orderly
- Communicate to management about machinery and quality issues as they arise
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
