Role Description
This is a full-time, in-office role for an Enrolled Agent located at our Chatsworth, CA office. The Enrolled Agent will possess a valid EA certification, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of tax regulations and compliance. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading and enhancing our tax practice, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Tax compliance, tax preparation, and overall tax expertise
- Experience in creating financial statements and accounting
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and applicable tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to work
- Effective communication and client relationship management skills
- Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field highly desired
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with tax-related software and tools, staying up to date with advancements in tax technology. Proficiency with the IRS LOGICS program is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide expert guidance on tax planning and estate planning strategies
- Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and clearly communicate financial obligations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to effectively advise clients
- Collaborate with clients on financial strategies, including mergers and acquisitions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
