Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Plant Laborer and play a vital role in maintaining efficient and safe manufacturing operations. This energetic position may involve washing, drying, folding, and packing of uniforms, hospital linens, towels, mats, and other items. It may also include loading and unloading of both clean and dirty materials, including filling cages for placement on trucks. Your proactive attitude and willingness to perform physical work will contribute directly to the smooth running of our facility. Duties
- Industrial Laundry primarily handling mats, uniforms, assorted linens.
- Assist with loading and unloading products efficiently and safely
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the plant to ensure a clean working environment
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks to move materials or equipment as needed within safety guidelines
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting equipment, ensuring proper use, and reporting any issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics flow and uphold plant safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical labor including heavy lifting and manual tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
