The Metal Shop is a family-owned company that has been in the HVAC Manufactory business for over 40 yrs. Our Dunnellon Facility is currently seeking a Certified Forklift Repair Technician with 2 years of on-the-job training. Experienced technicians only please. You will need good work references and be Drug-Free.
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. No weekends, Holidays off.
Good transportation and on-time attendance are necessary for success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The certified forklift repair technician will be keeping company owned forklifts and industrial trucks operating by troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance. Perform safety checks as needed. Maintaining the assigned tools and working area in a clean and organized manner.
Skills Needed:
Certified Forklift Technician (CFT)
Perform Forklift Repair, Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and Safety Checks
Quickly Diagnose issues to return equipment to operational condition
Environmental Awareness
Knowledge of internal combustion engines (LPG)
Basic understanding of electricity and hydraulics
Strong written and verbal skills
Quality focus and results driven
Valid Driver's License and Good driving record
Ability to work independently and as a team
Good organizational skills
Dependable (show up every day on time)
