Hands of Hope Texas is seeking a motivated Community Engagement Specialist to expand our presence throughout the community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, attending community events, and connecting individuals and organizations with quality behavioral services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships between the organization and the community through effective communication, outreach, and engagement efforts.
- Serve as a liaison and mediator between community members and relevant agencies or departments, providing guidance and support navigating systems and resources.
- Identify, assess, and respond to the needs and concerns of the community.
- Develop and sustain partnerships with local individuals, businesses, and organizations to promote the organization's mission and services.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate community events, workshops, and meetings to encourage engagement and participation in programs.
- Travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area to promote the mission and values of HOHTX.
- Support marketing and recruitment efforts with the following performance goals:
- 10 clients successfully admitted within the first 30 days
- 15 clients successfully admitted within 60 days
- 20 clients successfully admitted within 90 days
- Assist with scheduling and completion of client intakes (as needed).
- Assist with scheduling assessments (as needed)
- Provide support to office staff as needed.
- Travel to all Hands of Hope locations as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned at the discretion of the CEO.

Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office (required).
- Minimum one (1) year of management experience (required).
- At least five (5) years of experience working with underserved populations (preferred).
- Minimum one (1) year background in the mental health field.
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and independently when needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively serve as a spokesperson for the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher required.
- Must own or have reliable access to a vehicle that is properly maintained, inspected, and insured.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
In-Office Administrative Marketing: $16.00 per hour (Part-Time)
Community Marketing and Business Development: Commission-Based (Unlimited Earning Potential
Pay: $15,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
