Our shop carries a wide selection of crystals, gemstones, jewelry, and gifts designed to bring more positivity and love into our community. We’re looking for a dependable, friendly Retail Sales Associate to join our team and help create a welcoming, uplifting experience for every customer.
This role is especially well‑suited for college students seeking stable, long‑term part‑time work who take pride in reliability, integrity, and consistent performance. We’re looking for a dependable, friendly team member who can support daily operations and take on light keyholder responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and professional customer service
- Assist customers with selecting crystals, gemstones, and spiritual products
- Answer basic questions about crystals, chakras, and metaphysical topics (training provided)
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
- Operate the POS system accurately and follow all cash‑handling procedures
- Assist with stocking, inventory and product presentation
- Friendly, dependable and comfortable engaging with customers
- Interest in crystals, minerals or metaphysical products
- Open and/or close the store as scheduled
- Follow company policies to maintain a secure, ethical workplace
- Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
Qualifications
- Strong reliability and communication skills
- Professional, friendly demeanor and customer‑service mindset
- Ability to follow procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment
- History of stable employment, academic and/or volunteering commitments
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the store
Preferred Experience
- Retail or customer service experience
- POS or cash‑handling experience
- Basic math skills and accuracy with transactions
- Knowledge of crystals, gemstones, chakras, or metaphysics (a plus, but not required)
Schedule Requirements
Required weekly schedule:
- 2 days a week - Thursdays and Saturdays - 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Additional availability:
- Saturday or Sunday as needed
- Consistent weekly availability and dependable adherence to scheduled shifts are essential and required
