Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Nights
- Responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to groups of patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position delivers patient-centered care by collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Additionally, this role administers medications and treatments as prescribed, monitors patient responses, and adjusts care plans as needed. In addition, this position supervises and teaches other personnel in the theory and performance of nursing acts, ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting body standards. Responsibilities for this role include maintaining high standards of care, promoting wellness, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
* Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
* Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.

- Performs accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills, multi-tasking, and a professional bedside manner
- Knowledgeable in assigned areas of patient care including health promotion and maintenance
- EKG knowledge (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)
- Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]
- Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
- EPIC [Preferred]

Pay: $31.53 - $52.24 per hour
