American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with Level 3 Nursery experience for a night shift Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics position at an acute care hospital in Louisiana.

Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
-
Preferred schedule is 48 hours per week, with flexibility for a rotating 36/48-hour schedule
-
Two Fridays scheduled within every 4-week period
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements

Level 3 Nursery unit, including NICU
-
Intra-hospital patient transports required
-
Ability to attend C-sections required
-
CRTT or RRT certification required
-
Active Louisiana (LA) respiratory therapy license required if applicable

Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (required for NICU)

Level 3 Nursery experience required

A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Any employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained

Provide respiratory therapy services in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, including NICU coverage

Candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Former permanent employees of any facility within the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
