JOB SUMMARY
The Salesperson is responsible for his/her own customer accounts. Sales focus will be on stand-by rescue services, emergency response team training, silo cleaning, and safety-related consulting.

DUTIES:

Calling on potential customers to offer our services, this could either be using our current customer list or cold calling on the target markets.

Communicate sales progress through the company CRM.

Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

Assist with the creation of marketing material for external communications.

Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
-
Attending trade shows.
-
Work with the COOs on the target services needing growth.

Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and peers.
-
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.

Be able to operate a computer to perform daily work activities, with an understanding of basic computer software (MS Word, MS Excel) and the ability to grasp new software within reasonable time frames.

Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Ability to climb ladders, tolerate confined spaces and heights, bend, stoop, stretch, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Willingness and ability to wear safety equipment such as, but not limited to, respirators, safety shoes, safety glasses, and hard hats.

Have vision correctable to 20/20 for inspection activities.

Ability to pass a company required physical examination.

Have a valid driver’s license.

Availability to work overtime hours.

Ability to work remotely.

Availability to travel up to 50% of the time to include overnight stays.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree from a college or technical school is preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in a related field.
