The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indianapolis Downtown – Convention Center Area is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Part-Time Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team.
As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring every guest room is clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active, and have a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to IHG brand standards.
- Change bed linens and make beds neatly.
- Clean bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all guest room surfaces.
- Restock guest room amenities, towels, and linens.
- Report maintenance concerns and damaged items promptly.
- Ensure rooms are inspection-ready within established time standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
- Respond to guest requests in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Assist with laundry or public area cleaning when needed.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members and other hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to outstanding guest service.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:

- Hotel Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
