Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Neurologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role focuses on the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients suffering from persistent post-traumatic headaches, mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI), and post-concussion syndrome resulting from auto and personal injuries.
Responsibilities
- Perform independent neurological and concussion evaluations for patients who have sustained traumatic auto injuries.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic post-traumatic headaches.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and recommend therapeutic interventions (e.g., neuromodulation, CGRP inhibitors, Botox, or trigger point injections).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neuropsychologists, physical therapists, and pain management specialists to ensure holistic patient recovery.
- Provide thorough, timely medical-legal documentation and clinical notes.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of a neurology residency program; post-residency experience is a plus.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques including CT scans, MRI, and nuclear medicine relevant to neurological diagnosis.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods specific to neurology.
- Experience with inpatient hospital settings, critical care environments including neurocritical care units, or Level I trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across various specialties such as anesthesiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, oncology, pediatrics, and more.
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering compassionate patient care in diverse clinical settings.
