Location: Northern Manhattan, New York City
Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays from 3-7pm, and flexibility for either Thursday or Saturday in the future, same hours

We are seeking energetic, professional, and community-minded Brand Managers to support a growing public engagement campaign focused on Northern Manhattan. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community outreach, marketing, public affairs, and building meaningful connections with residents, stakeholders, and local organizations.
An Outreach Canvasser is responsible for engaging with members of the community to share information, promote programs, events, services, or initiatives, and encourage participation or awareness. This role involves distributing flyers or materials, answering basic questions, and representing the organization in a friendly and professional manner. Outreach Canvassers may visit neighborhoods, public spaces, businesses, or community events to connect directly with residents. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude are important for success in this position. The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable speaking with diverse groups of people while helping build community relationships and support.
Responsibilities
- Represent the campaign at community events, meetings, and public gatherings
- Promote campaign initiatives and increase community awareness
- Assist with grassroots marketing and brand visibility efforts
- Engage residents, business owners, and community leaders
- Capture photos, videos, and content for social media platforms
- Help distribute campaign materials and collect community feedback
- Support event planning and on-site activation efforts
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in marketing, branding, public relations, communications, sales, or community outreach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with diverse groups of people
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Familiarity with social media platforms is preferred
- Knowledge of Northern Manhattan communities is a plus
