About the Role
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce's capabilities. In this role, you will coordinate and support daily training activities, focusing on onboarding, qualifications, and department-wide initiatives. Your expertise in learning management systems (LMS) and training methodologies will directly contribute to employee development and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Streamline the onboarding experience by managing trainer assignments and facilitating onboarding sessions, ensuring new hires are well-integrated and mentored.
- Deliver targeted on-the-job training (OJT) using established guides and instructions to equip employees with the skills needed for quality production.
- Evaluate employee competency through qualification assessments, verifying the necessary skills and knowledge for producing high-quality parts.
- Track employee progress in onboarding and qualification, adjusting training plans in collaboration with management to optimize learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate training records, including database entries and learning plan preparations, using tools like Kiosks and e-Learning platforms.
- Refine training materials by providing feedback on OJT guides and other resources, incorporating insights from both operators and managers.
- Support operational improvements by participating in and leading initiatives that enhance site-wide processes and performance.
- Facilitate training sessions for procedure updates, RCA actions, and annual requirements, ensuring employees stay current with changes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull between 10 to 50 lbs.
- Ability to regularly stand and move throughout the department and shift.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug & background screening.
- Wear department-required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Prior experience in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
- Mechanical aptitude.
