We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to provide essential phlebotomy and lab support on an as-needed basis. What You’ll Do:
- Provides phlebotomy services and selected lab procedures to patients as requested
- Collect and handle specimens using universal precautions
- Maintain records, assist with lab charges, and support clerical tasks
- Maintain security and confidentiality of patient health information
- Performs clerical functions as delegated
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous phlebotomy experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate
- Current BLS certification and driver license required
- Required to become certified as drug and alcohol collector
- Must successfully complete phlebotomy and lab competencies
- Previous healthcare office experience preferred
- Strong customer service and computer skills
Selected applicant will be required to complete a drug test, immunizations, vaccinations, background check and other health tests.
