We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) specializing in foot and/or reflexology therapy to join our growing wellness team at our spa located on King Street. The ideal candidate is passionate about holistic health, dedicated to client care, and committed to delivering a consistently exceptional experience.
Responsibilities
The therapist will perform foot massage and reflexology sessions tailored to each client’s needs, conduct brief client intake consultations to identify areas of concern or discomfort, maintain a clean and calming treatment environment in compliance with state health and safety standards, and keep accurate client records in accordance with South Carolina regulations. Building lasting client relationships and recommending appropriate session frequencies and wellness plans is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current, valid Massage Therapy license issued by the South Carolina Board of Massage Therapy, have completed a state-approved massage therapy education program (minimum 500 hours), and carry professional liability insurance. Demonstrated experience or specialized training in foot massage, reflexology, or related modalities is strongly preferred, along with excellent communication skills and a professional, client-centered demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional modalities such as hot stone or aromatherapy is a plus, as is certification from the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB). Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
