Stur-D Products is looking to hire an additional Welder to our staff! We require experience, but do not require certification. Current DL required. We offer competitive pay & benefits!
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal structures.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials as needed on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site.
Skills
- Proven experience in welding.
- Proficient in reading blueprints.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience with assembly processes related to metalwork is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
