MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS OF RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION FIELD INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide accurate estimates that capture all costs of the project including overhead costs and profits to clients using company forms, create and maintain in an organized manner project paperwork and submit timely to the billing office, oversee projects to ensure timely and accurate completion, serve as client contact for duration of the project and initial contact for any warranty calls. Must be organized, willing to maintain office and company vehicle in clean and organized state at all times, motivated to build on a busy Residential division to produce profit for yourself and the company. This position also serves as part of the backup to scheduling calls and issuing purchase orders when other personnel are out.

MUST know residential plumbing codes in current use.
- Supervise the installation, repair and maintenance of water and plumbing; maintain records and files; prepare reports.
- Plan, schedule and assign the activities of plumbers.
- Supervise the installation and repair of hot and cold water, oil, steam or gas pipes and necessary connections.
- Prepare and analyze reports and charts concerning worker utilization and job time rates.
- Establish work standards, production control, job priorities and preventative maintenance teams. Make sketches for plumbing layouts and determine types and quantities of materials necessary.
- Determine time and cost estimates for plumbing jobs.
- Aid in obtaining materials necessary to complete the job - i.e. special order parts.
- Assist/provide direction to staff with more difficult / complex projects.
- Perform related work as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Thorough knowledge of the common practices, tools and terminology of the plumbing trade; thorough knowledge of the use and characteristics of common plumbing equipment; thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions associated with the plumbing trade; skill in the use of tools and equipment; ability to work from sketches, drawings, plans or specifications; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. Ability to crawl, climb, bend, kneel and lift at least 75 lbs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Graduation from high school and extensive plumbing experience including some supervisory experience. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Significant standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Possession of a valid driver’s license and possess an acceptable DMV record that contains NO MORE than 2 infractions. A criminal background check will be conducted post offer.
