Junior Estimator – Commercial Flooring
Location: Merritt Island/Orlando/Casselberry (Florida)
Employment Type: Full‑Time/Part-time
Seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who has completed schooling, coursework, or formal training in construction estimating, project management, or a related field and is ready to apply their knowledge in a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior estimators with take‑offs, bid preparation, and project proposals.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and job requirements.
- Input and maintain project data using RFMS Measure software.
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers to gather pricing and scope details.
- Support the team in ensuring accurate and timely estimates.
Qualifications
- Completion of a construction estimating program, trade school, or relevant coursework (required).
- Hands‑on experience or training with RFMS Measure software strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; additional software knowledge is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
