Herb To Body is a growing natural products company based in Valley Cottage, NY. We pack, label, and fulfill herbal products, supplements, and wellness goods across multiple sales channels. Our shipping team is the final checkpoint that gets quality orders out the door on time, and we're looking for a hands-on leader to run it and connect it to the rest of our operation.
About the Role
We're hiring a Bilingual Shipping & Fulfillment Supervisor to lead our shipping department and serve as the link between shipping, production, and our digital team. You'll run the day-to-day floor (picking, packing, dispatch) while making sure what we ship lines up with what production builds and what our sales channels promise.
This is a working supervisor role, not a desk job. You'll lead by example on the floor, then step into coordination meetings to keep the whole order pipeline moving. You'll report directly to the President.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required. You'll be the bridge between company leadership and a team whose primary language is not English, and you'll work closely with our bilingual Production Manager to keep both teams aligned.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate the daily work of the shipping team (pickers and packer)
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and keep orders moving to meet ship deadlines
- Pick, pack, and verify orders alongside the team during peak volume
- Meet regularly with the Production Manager to align output with order demand and close supply gaps before they cause delays
- Work with the digital team to ensure seamless order flow across all sales channels
- Track order accuracy and reduce errors, mispicks, and shipping delays
- Report directly to the President on status, blockers, throughput, and staffing needs
- Translate instructions, training, and updates between management and the team
- Manage shipping supplies and flag when materials need reordering
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
- Help onboard and train new shipping staff
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
- 2+ years in shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment, with at least 1 year leading or coordinating a team
- Comfortable coordinating across departments and communicating with leadership
- Comfortable using shipping/order software (we use Veeqo; experience with similar systems is a plus)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet throughout the shift
- Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure during high-volume days
- A leader who sets the example by working alongside the team
Nice to Have
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer products, or food/supplement fulfillment
- Familiarity with multi-channel order flow (Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, wholesale)
- Experience coordinating between warehouse and production teams
- Basic computer and inventory skills
