Overview
We are expanding our services and looking for a passionate and energetic Program Coordinator to join our new Family Advocacy Center team. The Family Advocacy Center is a community hub where individuals and families can find support, connect with resources, and participate in groups that strengthen families. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program and staff.
Primary Duties
- Program Management: Provide oversight to program(s) as assigned. Duties may include program implementation, budgeting, documentation, file reviews, quality/risk management, and client outcomes.
- Staffing and Supervision: Oversee the staffing and supervision of employees as assigned. Duties may include overseeing the recruitment and retention of staff, interviewing and hiring, providing oversight and support, and providing appropriate corrective action plans for staff when necessary.
- Service Delivery: Provide direct services using the model/curriculum as identified by the program contract. Duties may include developing service plans, facilitating groups, advocacy, crisis intervention, and providing training/education.
- Documentation: Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Duties may include assessments, notes, progress and closing reports, and compliance documents.
- Community Relations: Assist in representing the agency and advocating for needed services. Ensure collaboration and strong communication with community partners and referral sources.
- Other: Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and valid driver’s license required. Master’s Degree in a Human Services, 5 years of previous experience and 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Miscellaneous: Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program.
Skills: Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people. Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to recognize and report issues or concerns pertaining to program operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,276.00 - $63,276.00 per year
