Can size a servo or stepper drive train from a napkin sketch using load and inertia calculations?
-
Enjoys wiring a clean control panel just as much as writing IEC 61131-3 PLC code?
-
Knows how to tune a motion axis until it hits the move profile every time?
-
Speaks fluently with customers, vendors, and fellow engineers to solve controls challenges?
-
Technical product support for linear motion systems, components, and cartesian robotics.
-

-
Motor and drive sizing using proper load calculations.
-
PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) and integration with drives and I/O.
-
Tuning servo and stepper axes for performance and stability.
-
Electrical panel work: install, wire, and troubleshoot components within control panels.
-
Interpret and create electrical control panel schematics.
-
Support customer applications and test stands—design, build, operate, and troubleshoot.
-
Cross-functional communication with engineering peers, vendors, and customers on controls-related issues.
-
Apply mechatronics know-how across controls, software, and mechanical actuator systems.
