We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Waterford, CT.
Pay: $40 - $50 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC sheet metal systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Lay out, measure, and mark materials for fabrication and installation.

Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, presses, and forming rolls.

Coordinate work with supervisors, team members, and other trades.

Train and mentor apprentices as needed.

Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.

Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications-
Connecticut SM2 Sheet Metal License required.

Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience.

Valid driver's license.

Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces.

Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in commercial construction environments.
