A. Scheppe Landscaping: Bookkeeper/Office Manager
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Bookkeeper/Office Manager to help keep our landscaping business running smoothly. This role is the central point of contact for our clients and supports the day-to-day operations of the VP, as well as the office. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed and is comfortable working in a relaxed environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and other documents, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and followed through to completion.
- Maintain filing systems for customer records, contracts, and company documents.
- Manage reports and documentation related to accounting, insurance, permits, and other business requirements.
- Handle bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense tracking.
- Schedule appointments and manage VP’s calendar.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred and basic accounting knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive.
- Job will be from July - November
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
