We operate behind the scenes to ensure products move from idea to customer quickly, accurately, and at scale. Our warehouse combines strong execution with modern systems that allow us to move fast while maintaining control.
The Role
We're hiring an Operations Manager to bring structure, organization, and execution leadership across multiple areas of our operation.
This role combines operational execution, customer communication, and process improvement. You'll coordinate customer-facing communication, special projects, international shipments, B2B/EDI workflows, and cross-functional initiatives while supporting the broader fulfillment operation.
You'll be responsible for building processes, organizing work, improving communication, and ensuring execution is consistent, efficient, and scalable.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, creating structure, and driving operational excellence. This is not a purely desk-based role - you'll spend time both in the warehouse and working cross-functionally with multiple teams.
This role is also expected to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to improve workflows, documentation, communication, and operational efficiency. We are looking for someone who actively uses AI as part of how they work, not someone who is just familiar with it.
What You'll DoOperations & Project Execution
- Own execution of key operational workstreams across the business
- Manage high-impact and non-standard work including wholesale orders, retail compliance projects, relabeling initiatives, special requests, and operational launches
- Coordinate operational priorities across fulfillment, production, client operations, and warehouse teams
- Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and aligned with business priorities
Customer & Client Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational customer inquiries, shipment issues, and escalations
- Communicate proactively regarding inventory availability, shipping delays, project timelines, and operational updates
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive accurate and timely information
- Build trust through strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving
International Shipping & B2B Operations
- Coordinate international shipments and support customs documentation, duties, and cross-border logistics requirements
- Support EDI workflows, retailer compliance requirements, and B2B order processing
- Partner with internal teams to improve processes supporting wholesale, retail, and international growth
Organization & Process Development
- Bring structure and organization to operational workflows
- Build and implement clear processes, SOPs, and operational standards
- Establish prioritization frameworks to ensure work is executed efficiently
- Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement
- Reduce reliance on ad hoc decision-making and manual coordination
Systems & Tools
- Use tools like ShipHero, Monday.com, and Google Workspace to improve visibility, accountability, and execution
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to:
- Build SOPs and process documentation
- Improve communication and reporting
- Analyze workflows and identify inefficiencies
- Automate or streamline repetitive tasks
- Partner with leadership to improve automation, workflows, and reporting
- Maintain clean, reliable operational data to support decision-making
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a bridge between planning and execution across departments
- Partner with Fulfillment leadership to balance workload and operational priorities
- Coordinate effectively with warehouse, production, and client operations teams
- Ensure clear communication across teams to prevent gaps, delays, and duplication of effort
What You BringRequired
- 3+ years of operations, fulfillment, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Experience leading projects, teams, or operational workstreams
- Strong organizational and process-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working both at a desk and in an operational environment
- Experience actively using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to improve workflows, documentation, communication, or operations
Candidates who do not actively use AI tools in their day-to-day work are unlikely to be a fit for this role.
Preferred
- Experience in e-commerce, fulfillment, logistics, or high-SKU environments
- Experience with ShipHero or similar warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience with Monday.com or similar workflow management systems
- Experience managing international shipments and cross-border logistics
- Experience with EDI workflows, retailer compliance requirements, or B2B operations
- Experience managing project-based or non-standard operational work
