GELATO, GUEST EXPERIENCE & BRAND AMBASSADOR
Visionarium Live Italian – South Pasadena
Visionarium Live Italian is looking for an energetic, warm, outgoing, and customer-focused person to join our Italian gelato program.
This is not simply a gelato-serving position.
We are looking for someone who can act as a Guest Host and Brand Ambassador for Visionarium: someone who enjoys meeting people, making guests feel welcome, starting conversations naturally, and promoting everything our venue has to offer.
In addition to preparing and serving gelato, this person will be expected to interact with guests, present Visionarium according to company guidelines, and encourage visitors to discover our restaurant, rooftop, wine bar, live events, memberships, and other experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve authentic Italian gelato
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Act as a Guest Host and Brand Ambassador for Visionarium
- Engage guests in friendly and natural conversation
- Explain the Visionarium concept and promote the venue according to company instructions
- Promote Visionarium’s restaurant, rooftop, wine bar, events, memberships, and special experiences
- Invite guests to visit the rooftop and discover upcoming events
- Answer questions about the venue, menu, gelato, wine program, memberships, and entertainment
- Build positive relationships with guests and help turn first-time visitors into returning customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually attractive gelato station
- Help create a welcoming, elegant, and positive atmosphere for everyone who enters Visionarium
Availability
Visionarium is open Tuesday through Sunday.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, hosting, sales, promotions, or customer service
- Interest in Italian food, wine, culture, music, and events
- Previous experience as a Brand Ambassador, Event Host, Promoter, or Guest Relations Associate
- This position requires consistent availability for at least five shifts per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must have flexible availability and must not have scheduling restrictions that conflict with these requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old due to alcohol service responsibilities.
