Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process sales transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with customers, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations through upselling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and kitchen prep spaces.
- Assist with food presentation and delivery from the kitchen to ensure timely service in a fine dining atmosphere.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Support bar operations through bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the bar area remains organized and inviting.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings.
- Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine pairings, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently using excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
