Position Summary:
The Mobile Service Travel Team Manager acts as both a commercial leader and an operational manager. This role involves driving revenue through on-site service sales while managing a team of mobile service technicians who travel to high-priority customer sites. This hybrid role requires technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and a strong, proactive approach to client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

Grow Revenue: Actively prospect, develop and secure new customers while managing existing accounts within a national territory.

Generate proposals: Create and present technical proposals, quotes and contracts for hydraulic services, including repairs, installations and system troubleshooting.

Customer Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships on-site providing updates, resolving concerns, and ensuring high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Scheduling: Manage and schedule mobile service technicians for short and long term, travel-based assignments based on skill set, location and availability.

Performance: Oversee technician performance, training, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Logistics: Engaged in travel, lodging, service vehicles, equipment inventory and specialized tools required for field deployments.

Project Monitoring: Monitor job progress, troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure timely completion of work.

Strategic Support

Budgeting: Manage the annual sales and service operations budget.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activity, including calls, lost orders, lost business and service metrics.

Technical Support: Offer technical guidance to field technicians and clients and collaborate with internal engineering teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years of experience in hydraulic system or hose service or related field.
