Job Overview
We are seeking a Landscape Crew Member who is flexible and enjoys a variety of outdoor work. Unlike positions assigned to one specific crew, this role supports multiple divisions throughout the season based on business needs.
You may spend one week installing patios, another week planting shrubs or spreading mulch, and another helping maintain commercial properties or assisting our mowing crews. Every day brings something different while providing opportunities to develop a wide range of landscaping skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hardscape installation including patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire pits, and outdoor living spaces.
- Help install trees, shrubs, flowers, mulch, sod, and landscape beds.
- Perform landscape maintenance including pruning, trimming, weeding, bed edging, mulch installation, and seasonal cleanups.
- Assist mowing crews with lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, and property clean-up when needed.
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials, equipment, and tools.
- Assist with grading, digging, drainage work, and site preparation.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Keep trucks, trailers, equipment, and job sites clean and organized.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work alongside different crews and adapt to changing daily priorities.
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping, construction, lawn care, or outdoor labor experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
- Strong work ethics with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the workday.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
- Team-oriented with the flexibility to work on different crews throughout the season.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver's license is required
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. as business needs require.
