Overview
As an Early Intervention Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) with developmental delays, disabilities, and other physical challenges. Your expertise will help improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical development while supporting their families through education and guidance.
The physical therapist is contracted through B & Y Kids Resources LLC. Services provided by the physical therapist meet the standards of care for physical therapy services and New York State professional standards and also meet the DOH guidelines for home health care providers.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current New York State Physical Therapist license and registration
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with developmental delays preferred
- Early Intervention experience is a plus
Responsibilities
1. Provide Physical Therapy services in accordance with the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)
2. Assess and address gross motor delays, mobility challenges, balance, coordination, strength, and functional movement skills
3. Complete session notes and required documentation in a timely manner.
