Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC principles and the ability to work effectively in various environments. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC/R systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within the systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Follow safety protocols while working on-site and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in building and welding components as necessary for system installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in refrigerate and boil systems is preferred.
- Experience in field service or as a service technician is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in HVAC installation.
