The Inn at I'On is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations, boutique brand experience, and flexibility to oversee all shifts, ensuring the seamless operation of the property. This role supports the General Manager in all areas, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services, while maintaining Marriott brand standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.

Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and policies.

Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff to ensure efficient hotel operations.

Assist in managing guest relations, handling escalated guest concerns and feedback.

Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, and help achieve operational goals.

Ensure all shifts are adequately covered, stepping in to support where needed.

Assist in recruitment, training, and development of staff.

Maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and vendors.

Ensure safety, security, and cleanliness standards are met.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or equivalent in the hospitality industry, preferably within the Marriott brand.

Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage.

Experience with Marriott property management systems (FOSSE experience preferred).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including covering all shifts as needed.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred, but not required.
