About Createch
Createch, LLC is a Raleigh, NC technology company that builds and maintains the points-of-interest (POI) data behind modern maps, navigation, and local search. Our field collectors capture public, observable information about local businesses — the ground truth that keeps digital maps accurate.
The project
We're mapping roughly 2,000 business locations in this metro over the next 6–8 weeks, and we're selecting just two collectors to do it. The app offers two kinds of tasks, each labelled with its own rate before you accept it:
Common tasks — the full capture: a short indoor video, a publicly broadcast Wi-Fi network name, and storefront photos. A few minutes per stop, at a higher per-task rate.
Storefront tasks — a quick exterior capture: storefront photo plus GPS/address confirmation, nothing else. A minute or two per stop, high volume, at a quicker per-task rate.
Depending on the metro, your task pool may be all Storefront, all Common, or a mix of both — the map in the app shows exactly what's available, and an optimized route strings your stops into efficient day-plans.
This is a project, not a trickle of gig tasks: the full task pool is visible from day one, it's yours to work through at your own pace, and when the city is done, it's done. Many of our collectors treat it as their primary focus for the project window — that's your call, and the economics below reward it.
Earnings — transparent and per-task
· You see every rate up front. Each task shows its pay in the app before you accept it. Piece-rate; estimated $25–$35/hour equivalent for a focused collector on optimized routes.
· Full-project potential. Collectors who complete their share of the city typically earn $5,000–$6,000 over the 6–8 weeks.
· City completion bonus. An extra $300 when the city's task pool is fully closed out.
· Milestone bonus. $100 after your first 100 approved tasks.
· Paid fast. Approved work is paid by direct deposit on a rolling cycle — no waiting for month-end.
Who thrives in this project
· You have meaningful availability over the next 6–8 weeks and want a defined block of well-paid field work — students on break, drivers between contracts, anyone between roles or building a flexible income;
· Reliable transportation (a vehicle strongly preferred — routes cover the whole metro) and comfort walking several blocks at each stop;
· An Android smartphone (Android 6.0+, 8 GB RAM) with dependable mobile data;
· Detail-oriented and consistent — our quality team reviews every early submission, and approved-first-time work is what unlocks the full pool;
· 18 or older and legally authorized to perform independent-contractor work in the U.S.
How selection works
1. Apply online (two minutes) and tell us your availability for the coming 6–8 weeks;
2. A short call with our team — we'll walk through the project, the pay math, and your questions;
3. A paid trial batch (your first ~50 tasks) with full quality review — you're earning from task one;
4. Pass the trial and the city is yours: the full task pool, the completion bonus, and priority for future projects in your metro.
Good to know (independent contractor role)
This is a 1099 independent-contractor engagement for a defined project. You choose your own hours, routes, and pace; you're free to work with other companies; you use your own phone and transportation; and you're responsible for your own taxes. Committing your focus to the project is rewarded by the economics — never required by contract. There is never any fee to apply or onboard — money only flows from Createch to you.
