Job Description Overview:
Role Purpose:
Sensaria is seeking a results-driven Recruiter to lead the full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for direct labor positions across our manufacturing facility including production operators, assemblers, machine operators, material handlers, and warehouse/fulfillment associates.
This role is critical to keeping our production lines staffed and running, particularly during peak seasonal and e-commerce fulfillment periods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, builds strong relationships with hiring managers on the production floor, and knows how to source and close hourly talent quickly without sacrificing quality. This role will be based in our Morrisville, NC HQ location, with an expectation of onsite 3-4 days per week, and 4-5 days during our Peak Season.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own the full-cycle recruiting for direct labor roles, from requisition intake through offer and onboarding, for multiple concurrent openings across shifts.
- Partner closely with Production, Operations, and Plant Leadership to understand staffing needs, shift coverage gaps, and seasonal/peak hiring ramp-up requirements.
- Source candidates through job boards, staffing agencies, community partnerships, job fairs, social media, and employee referral programs.
- Coordinate and track contingent/temp-to-hire labor through staffing agency partners, including headcount reconciliation and billing accuracy.
- Extend offers, conduct background check and drug screen coordination, and manage pre-employment processes in compliance with company policy.
Additional Task and Responsibilities
- Drive employer branding initiatives for hourly talent, including local outreach, flyers, and community recruiting events.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, fill rate, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and turnover to HR and Operations leadership.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with EEO and applicable federal/state employment law.
Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications
- 2 - 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in high-volume or hourly/direct labor recruiting.
- Experience recruiting within a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and candidates simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Working knowledge of ATS/HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence hiring managers and operations leaders.
Specific Skills and Competencies
- Experience managing contingent/ managed staffing agency relationships, including billing and headcount reconciliation.
- Familiarity with seasonal or peak-volume workforce planning in a manufacturing or fulfillment setting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS sourcing certification a plus.
