- Compensation Plan: Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer a base salary up to $150,000 and also paid overtime at 1.5x.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
The Sr. Structural Project Engineer, PE will work closely with the drafting staff to design and analyze structural components, review detailed drawings, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs and calculations for low-rise commercial and industrial buildings.
- Coordinate with drafting staff who will create the detailed drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and support investigative engineering efforts.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with codes.
- Review construction documents, review of shop drawings and product submittals.
- Provide technical support during construction phases and address any structural issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience as a Structural Engineer or in a related position.
- Experience with low-rise commercial buildings is a plus.
- Experience with investigative engineering and forensic analysis.
- Experience with building codes and industry standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with metal building systems and retrofitting techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software. Familiarity with Risa 3D, Enercalc and Woodworks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
