Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscaping and maintenance including litter pick up, string trimming, and zero turn mowing. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of highways and commercial properties such as trimming around signs, guardrails, and along bridges. Some out of town work necessary with per diem included. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with a team to ensure high-quality results in landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care activities including mowing, trimming, and litter pick up.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, string trimming, edging, and mowing.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery is a plus.
- Familiarity with gardening techniques and landscape maintenance practices is essential.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for various tasks related to landscaping projects.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
