AK Injury Law Firm is looking for a BILINGUAL Case Assistant (NON-REMOTE) to join our personal injury team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, personable, and interested in building a career in the legal field.
The Case Assistant works closely with our Case Managers and legal team to help keep client files accurate, current, and moving in the right direction. This is a hands-on position where you will learn how personal injury cases are handled while supporting the team with administrative, client-service, and case-related responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable learning new processes, pays attention to details, communicates professionally, and takes pride in completing work accurately.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and case support to assigned Case Managers
- Assist with maintaining and updating client files
- Communicate with clients to obtain information, documents, and updates
- Assist clients with routine questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate team member
- Contact medical offices and other providers to request documentation
- Follow up on outstanding medical records, bills, reports, and other case materials
- Review incoming documents and ensure they are properly saved and organized
- Enter case information into the firm's case management system
- Assist with preparing correspondence, forms, and other case documents
- Help gather information needed for insurance claims
- Assist with property damage documentation and follow-up when needed
- Monitor assigned tasks and bring outstanding items to the attention of the Case Manager
- Assist with preparing files for the next stage of the case
- Make and receive professional phone calls
- Maintain accurate notes regarding client and third-party communications
- Assist with settlement and closing procedures as directed
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion
- Perform additional administrative and case-related duties as needed

Experience
Previous experience in a law office, medical office, insurance company, customer service, or administrative position is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
Experience with personal injury cases, medical records, insurance claims, or legal case management software is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is REQUIRED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-21/Hr (depending on experience) + PTO, 401K, Benefits.
