Job Duties:
- Based on pre-determined locations, puts stockroom inventory away in the proper location.
- Fulfills sales orders for purchased parts and hardware by pulling the material and staging it for Shipping.
- Builds kits from stocked parts and purchased components.
- Verify material on picking slip matches related blueprints.
- Based on Stockroom Standards, performs additional checks on certain items (e.g. sprockets, motors, gearboxes, etc.).
- Receives compliant material into M1.
- Initiates the NCR process when material does not conform to specs by completing the NCR entry.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Reports defective tools and equipment.
- Manages work center queues to provide all purchased and stock components to relative departments, locations, or jobs.
- Performs cycle counts of all inventory stock levels.
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations.
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Work Experience:
- One year forklift experience
- One year overhead crane experience
- Two years of stockroom experience, preferably in an industrial environment
Minimum Skill Requirements:
- Proven ability to read a tape measure
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to prioritize, organize and state material
- PC proficiency sufficient to enter data into ERP system and use MS Office to create and edit documents
Physical Requirements:
Employee is frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, stand, talk, heat and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to see with corrected vision to nearly 20/20 or better.
