Love software, accounting, and making clients feel taken care of? Certum Solutions is growing its sales team and hiring a Sales Solutions Specialist to be the warm, knowledgeable first voice prospects meet — and the steady hand who stays with them through the close.
This isn't a cold-calling grind. You're the inbound point of contact who greets prospects, builds rapport, and then rides the sales calls alongside our accountants and consultants as the engagement takes shape — making sure nothing slips and every prospect feels looked after from hello to signed.
The ideal candidate has actually worked inside the software we sell — on the sales side or as a technical/implementation resource — and knows what it's like to support a team of finance professionals. If you've done sales support, pre-sales, client onboarding, or account coordination inside an accounting firm, a SaaS company, or a consulting practice, you're exactly who we want to talk to. This is an early seat on a growing team, so there's real room to grow with us as we build it out.

Certum Solutions is a software consultancy and modern bookkeeping firm. We help clients choose and implement best-in-class software through client interviews, turnkey implementation, and dedicated follow-up, and we work extensively with third-party integrations across e-commerce, inventory, and more. What You'll Do
- Be the warm first point of contact for inbound prospects — answer questions, build rapport, and set the tone for the relationship.
- Stay on sales calls as engagements progress, supporting our accountants and consultants and keeping the prospect's experience seamless.
- Field basic product and QuickBooks questions, and route deeper technical questions to the right specialist or Q&A session.
- Track every opportunity in our CRM (Canopy), keep records current, and meet regularly with the Sales and Marketing Director on pipeline status.
- Help opportunities move and close on time so the team hits its goals.
- Stay current on our software suites (training provided) and bring what you learn back to the team.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with both teammates and clients.
What Will Help You Succeed
- Hands-on experience using one or more of the software platforms we work in — on the sales side or as a technical/implementation resource.
- Background in software sales, pre-sales, sales support, or account coordination, with comfort working across multiple apps in a B2B environment.
- Experience with both inbound and outbound sales motions.
- CRM fluency — managing multiple opportunities and keeping a living, accurate pipeline. We run on Canopy for CRM and practice management, so hands-on Canopy experience is a strong plus (we'll train the right person).
- A genuine interest in accounting and technology: you attend webinars, pursue continuing ed, and apply what you learn.
- Strong project-management instincts — you work a task list, update the plan, and keep communication current.
- A customer-service mindset — you genuinely want clients to be happy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to thrive independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in sales, sales support, account coordination, or a similar role — preferably in software/SaaS, accounting, or consulting.
- Comfort across accounting platforms is a real asset — we field requests in QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho, Odoo, and others. You won't know every answer on day one, but knowing how to dig in and find it is exactly the skill we're after.
- Associate's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A fully functional home office with reliable high-speed internet. We provide a laptop; accessories (monitor, keyboard, headset, etc.) are the employee's responsibility.
- Must reside in NC, SC, TX, FL, WV, or AZ.
Compensation & Benefits
- $52,000/year.
