Registered Respiratory Therapist, Full Time & Part time
Pay: $28 per hour depending on experience
Shift:

Duties include (but aren't limited to):
- Assessing vital signs and response to therapies
- Monitoring ventilators, bipaps, and other oxygen delivery devices
- Providing oxygen therapy and appropriate therapies to meet the patient's oxygen requirements
- Obtaining and analyzing arterial blood gas samples
- Administration of pulmonary based medications
- Delivering appropriate care in the event of a medical emergency (code blue, rapid response)
- Consulting with physicians and members of the medical team to recommend a change in therapy, plan of care for patients, and developing treatment plans
- Analysis of chest x-rays, lab results, and pathology reports
- Educating and counseling patients regarding pulmonary health, disease management and prevention, tobacco cessation, and discharge instructions related to pulmonary/respiratory issues
- Assisting in other areas of the facility as needed
