Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Nursing Tech to join our team. Day (7am-7pm) and Night (7pm-7am) shifts are available.
The Nursing Tech is a key member of our care team working alongside nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists to provide direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and the plan of care as directed by a licensed practitioner.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in acute care or inpatient rehab experience as a nursing assistant or aide
Education/Certifications
- Completion of a state recognized CNA program
- Nurse Aide licensure in the Commonwealth of VA
- Candidates currently in RN school who have completed a minimum of one semester of basic nursing fundamentals courses eligible
- BLS HCP certification or equivalent
