Job Summary
The Production MIG Welder is responsible for welding metal components using MIG (GMAW) welding processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on producing high-quality welds while meeting production schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or stainless steel components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Set up welding equipment, including adjusting voltage, amperage, and wire feed speed
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
