Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, with precision and care.
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special garments when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including washing stations, storage rooms, and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for chemicals used in cleaning and dry cleaning processes
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in cleaning procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use
