Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Degreed Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Lead daily classroom activities tailored to toddler age groups, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support early childhood development
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and individualized behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any special education needs or interventions
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning
- Incorporate early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays, ensuring personalized support
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, child observations, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in special education or Montessori teaching are highly preferred
- Proven classroom management experience with toddlers in daycare or preschool settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
- Prior experience working with children who have special educational needs or require early intervention services is advantageous
- Ability to plan lessons aligned with educational standards and adapt to diverse learning styles
