Build strong, trusting bonds with infants ages 6 weeks–12 months, supporting their growth every step of the way

Create a safe, secure, and loving environment where babies feel cared for and confident

Nurture each child's physical, social-emotional, and developmental needs

Lead by example within your classroom team

Communicate warmly and effectively with children, families, colleagues, and the community

Keep the classroom running smoothly with consistent, positive, and safe routines

2–4 years of relevant experience
-
MSDE 90hr Infant/Toddler Certification or CDA Certification with Infant/Toddler Endorsement (required)

A solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies

Strong knowledge of MSDE regulations

A warm, friendly, unflappable personality (babies can tell!)

Comfort with everyday tech tools like Microsoft Office (a plus)

Great communication and writing skills

Reliability you can set a clock to

Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle a few things at once

A team-first mindset
One more thing: per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment. Applicants for our federal center campuses must also obtain GSA security clearance through a government background screening.
