Job Summary
As a Mobile Detailer, you’ll complete detailing jobs assigned through Spartan Mobile Detailing. You’ll bring your own equipment, perform high-quality detailing services at customer locations, and represent our brand with professionalism and pride.
We’re seeking detailers who are reliable, skilled, and ready to take their detailing career to the next level while maintaining their independence.
What You’ll Do
- Provide professional mobile detailing services at customer locations
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning with precision and care
- Complete specialized tasks such as:
- Paint correction (up to 3 steps)
- Stain and odor removal
- Wet sanding (as needed)
- Ceramic coating and sealant application
- Use proper techniques and professional-grade products to achieve flawless results
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of your detailing setup and vehicle
- Communicate clearly with customers and ensure their satisfaction
- Work safely, efficiently, and consistently with Spartan Mobile Detailing standards
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive detailing (interior & exterior)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Odor & stain removal
- Multi-step paint correction
- Wet sanding and ceramic coatings
- Ownership of detailing equipment and a vehicle to transport supplies (preferred)
- Can supply own water and electricity for mobile jobs
- Familiarity with a wide range of detailing tools, products, and techniques

Contractor Terms & Responsibilities
This is an independent contractor position (1099) — not employment. Contractors are responsible for their own:
- Taxes, insurance, and business-related expenses
- Maintaining valid liability insurance for their work and vehicle
- Safe operation of tools, chemicals, and vehicles
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately to Spartan Mobile Detailing
Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own equipment and vehicle in safe working condition. Spartan Mobile Detailing is not liable for damages, injuries, or accidents that occur during contracted work.
Wearing Spartan Mobile Detailing apparel and representing our brand does not create an employer–employee relationship. Contractors maintain full control over how they complete their work while meeting company quality standards.
