Job Title: Salad/Prep Cook
Job Summary:
Numero 28 Allen is seeking a dependable Salad/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing fresh salads, appetizers, and ingredients according to our recipes and quality standards. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, maintains a clean workstation, and works well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare salads, cold appetizers, and other menu items according to recipes
- Wash, cut, portion, and prepare vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and other ingredients
- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen organization
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Label, store, and rotate food products properly
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during service
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- English or Spanish language skills welcomed
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
