Financial Services Support Specialist
Location: Sandy, UT (Onsite)
Compensation: $50,000 DOE
CV Resources is partnering with a growing financial technology organization to identify a Financial Services Support Specialist. This role serves as a key point of contact for credit union and financial institution clients, providing support related to lending, payments, ACH transactions, account balancing, and software functionality.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of customer service and financial services experience, with an understanding of credit union, banking, lending, or payment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Support credit union and financial institution clients with software-related questions and troubleshooting.
- Assist clients with ACH processing, payment transactions, account balancing, and general ledger-related inquiries.
- Research and resolve client issues while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions within support systems.
- Escalate technical or operational issues to internal teams as needed.
- Educate clients on product functionality, system processes, and best practices.
- Partner with Operations, Product, and Technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Identify trends and recurring issues to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a credit union, bank, lending institution, financial services organization, or fintech company.
- Working knowledge of ACH processing and payment operations.
- Understanding of general ledger concepts, balancing, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
- Experience supporting lending, deposit operations, member services, or financial software platforms.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting credit union software platforms.
- Familiarity with NACHA rules and ACH operations.
- Experience in loan servicing, lending operations, deposit operations, or payment processing.
- Prior experience in software support, help desk, customer support, or client services.
