Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Contract Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the management and administration of contracts across various projects and departments, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and organizational policies. Your expertise will help streamline contract processes, facilitate vendor relationships, and contribute to the successful execution of grant and procurement initiatives. Assistant Contract Management
- Support contract lifecycle management including bid preparation, execution, closeout and documentation.
- Help Track project milestones, manage change orders, and assist with billing and pay applications.
- Coordinate with bid assignees and project managers to organize and upload project evaluations, photos and support documentation.
- Ensure staff completes customer setup in QuickBooks, Exaktime, Job thread, Textura and other software platforms.
- Support preparation and follow up on bid submissions and maintain communication with clients and supervisors.
- Support contract specific maintenance, compliance and relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
-Draft Letters of Agreement and assist in onboarding new projects
-Maintain records and documentation for all contracts and correspondence.
-Monitor deadlines and support compliance with government contracting certifications.
Qualifications & Skills
· - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, QuickBooks, and project management tools (e.g., Job Thread, Exaktime).
· - Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
· - Experience in contract management, office administration, and business operations.
· - Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and support strategic initiatives.
· - Superior leadership skills with a focus on employee coaching and development.
· - Up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry trends.
· - Comfort with changing priorities and a dynamic work environment.
Education & Experience
· - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
· - Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.
· - Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role such as office manager, contract manager, or business manager.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
