Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your efforts will directly contribute to our guests’ comfort and satisfaction, supporting our reputation for exceptional hospitality.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, and specialized floor cleaning techniques
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, and linens to meet guest needs
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within hotels or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and customer service principles
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising housekeeping staff is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout shifts
