Job Description
Performs various plumbing assignments including installations, repairs and pipe replacements, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems throughout the hospital.
Job Responsibility
- Installs, maintains and replaces water, gas, steam, air, waste and vent, drainage and vacuum systems.
- Provides guidance and instructions to Plumber B and other personnel assigned to projects.
- Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.
- Serves as a member of Fire Response Team.
- Assists contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems.
- Performs related duties as required.
Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Previous plumbing experience, required.
- Ability to utilize portable and stationary power tools of the trade and read blueprints.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
